Cavernous hemangioma of the spermatic cord (about a case and literature review)
Basic and Clinical Andrology volume 20, pages 155–158 (2010)
Abstract
Spermatic cord cavernous hemangioma is a rare benign vascular tumor. Only a few cases have been previously reported. Clinical diagnosis is rather difficult, and it is generally by pathological discovery. The principal characteristics are the severity of the complications and the possibility of spontaneous involution. We report the case of a 26-year-old man who was treated for lymph node tuberculosis two years ago. A sonographic study led to the diagnosis, and treatment consisted of a tumorectomy. The discussion concerns the definition, diagnosis procedures, complications and treatment.
