The contribution of Encyclopaedia to the popularization of the anatomical notions in andrology during the age of Enlightenment

Abstract

During the Age of Enlightenment, it was due to the Encyclopaedia that the views of the great anatomists such as de Graaf, Morgagni, Duverney, Heister and Ruysch on human anatomy were disseminated and popularized in the scientific world and the general public.
