Resume

La cryptorchidie reste l’un des principaux facteurs de risque de tumeur testiculaire séminomateuse. Sa correction dans l’enfance améliore le pronostic. La technique chirurgicale ayant évolué ces trente dernières années, la connaissance des anciennes pratiques et l’apport de la laparoscopie permettent de mieux appréhender la technique opératoire lors du traitement chirurgical d’une tumeur testiculaire.

Abstract

Undescended testis is a major risk factor for testicular seminoma. Correction of undescended testis during childhood improves the prognosis.

The surgical technique has been improved over the last thirty years, based on a knowledge of older techniques and the contribution of the laparoscopy now allows a more precise operative technique during surgical treatment of testicular tumour.
