The expression of occludin in SCs. 1. Blank control group; 2. miR-122-5p mimic NC group; 3. miR-122-5p mimic group; 4. miR-122-5p inhibitor NC group; 5. miR-122-5p inhibitor group. The occludin protein in the miR-122-5p mimic group was significantly lower than the other groups (p < 0.05). The occludin protein in the miR-122 inhibitor group was significantly higher than the other groups (p < 0.05). These results indicated that miR-122-5p reduced the expression of occludin.
