Resume
SkevosZervos (1875–1966) médecin, chercheur, humaniste et patriote grec, a effectué à Athènes, en 1910, la première greffe de testicule de singe chez Phomme. La priorité deS. Zervos a été publiquement reconnue par Serge Voronoff.
Abstract
Professor Sk. Zervos (1875–1966) is considered a great doctor, researcher and humanist as well as a benefactor of hippocratism and a greek patriot.
Through this article we try to elucidate his contribution in the field of testicle transplantation where his supremacy is incontestable: indeed he performed the first successful testicle tranplantation from an ape to a man. This fact was officialy recognized by S. Voronoff.
